Slowly but surely and against all odds, Danny Vera has entered the Premier League of the Dutch Rock & Roll scene. For over 20 years he has done things his own way. Growing up listening to Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison and Elvs Presley, today he travels and tours together with his wife/tour manager Escha taking control of their own future. From their hometown, the city of Middelburg (Zeeland), Danny has slowly conquered every corner of the Lowlands, without concession. A hippie in a tailored suit with a quiff who is a pacifist, vegetarian and likes to write protest songs in his own unique way. His love for a well written song is stronger than the urge for a radio-hit. And yet his share of fans is growing by the day. Present day and he draws full theatres and has that radio-hit which has over 10 million steams. The album Pressure Makes Diamonds was recorded in the famous Wisseloord studios and mixed by Grammy winner Vance Powell.
